EXCITING NEWS....
It's time to get back out on the river to relax, unwind and have some FUN!
Spring has arrived with sunshine and increased tempertures, but there are still cooler, blustery days as well...so don't forget to pack some of those warmer clothes too!
The increased winter flow due to water releases interstate is subsiding, however we recommend that you still plan to not travel too far, and just relax and enjoy all the beautuful scenery that surounds you.. Some crews even choose to stay moored at our lovely riverbank and embrace their floating accommodation as a unique opportunity to discover more of the Riverland by car during the day, and sleep on the water at night!
While our marina is slowly greening up again, our houseboats are full of very happy guests spending time back in nature!
It can still be a little muddy in places - mainly when we have rain - so we suggest you bring some old shoes and towels in case it's still a bit damp where you tie up. However, it is very exciting to see everything fresh and flourishing again.
Remember that spending time on the river is the best way to bring some peace and balance back to your life, to be at one with nature and have a very special self contained holiday - and as Cosi from South Aussie with Cosi says, "everyone should enjoy a houseboat holiday at least once in their lives!".
With our best wishes Miriam & Co.
PLEASE NOTE:
*We are checking phone calls and emails regularly, but there may still be delays in reponse times as we move forward in the recovery process..
*There have been changes to the Fruit Fly rules, and all host fruit and vegetables are now banned from entering the the Riverland, even with a receipt. There are still plenty of options though that you can bring in, so please check out the PIRSA website for all the updates, and we have also drawn up a shopping list to help you which we will provide when you book!
