Welcome, and thank you for visiting our website. We hope you enjoy having a look around.
Due to the recent interstate rains, there is an increased water flow into S.A at the moment which is fabulous news for the environment! It is a very special time to holiday on the Murray and to experience a healthy rising river, especially the backwaters which are brimming with life. There are so many water birds around and the frog chorus at night is something to behold. We give you plenty of tips and instruction on how to handle your houseboat with the extra current, and as of 26th October our water levels at the marina are unchanged. Further upstream the river has risen and we expect a gradual rise in levels above Lock 1 at Blanchetown during November and into December - fingers crossed the yabbies will also start to bite!
As always, you need to respect the river, wear a life jacket when swimming or enjoying any water activities and look out for submerged or floating hazards.
If you need a relaxing break where you can reconnect with family and friends and experience a beautiful part of the Riverland please get in touch - we'd love to welcome you on board!
